Took a walk on two of the trails at the Five Rivers Preserve in Delmar today. Great resource here locally with some nice places to take photos of local wildlife and flora.
Two different species of turtles are represented here – have not had a chance to id them (although I think the one at left is a “chicken turtle”.
I did take photos of a Cabbage White butterfly and an as yet unidentified dragonfly, plus a few nice wildflowers. I did spy a red-winged blackbird but the image was not good.
There are some good landscape opportunities here as well, but I will have to come back when the light is “golden”.
