Lake Worth Pier
Very early this morning, my friend and I made our way to Lake Worth Pier to photograph the sunrise. Unfortunately, a rather dense cloud cover obscured the sun most of the time and I was not able to get a “traditional” sunset photo with the pier in the foreground from the beach as I had planned.
I went up on to the pier itself and had to pay $1 for the privilege to mingle with the fishermen. This photo was the keeper of the morning. Post-processed in Nik Color Efex 4 using the detail extractor and neutral density filters. I like the nice dramatic sky. Click on the image to see a larger version.
